Farm Machinery Granted to Farmers

A total of 344 units of Farm were granted (zero equity) to 120 Farmers Organization at Department of Agriculture-ROS, Paraiso, Tarlac, Last June 21, 2017. These farm machineries were funded by the Department of Agriculture-Regional Office. It was claimed as “The Biggest”, so far, in the history of the province as stated by Governor Susan A. Yap.

This program aims “To Attain Rice Sufficiency Thru; increase crop yield, increase cropping intensity, reduce crop post production losses, increase productivity of labor, and to enable full utilization of farm products and by-products”. The granted farm machinery were Mini 4-wheel Drive Tractor, Shallow Tube Well (STW),Rice Reaper, Rice Thresher, Rice Transplanter, Floating Tiller, Recirculating Dryer, Hand Tractor, Multi-Purpose Drying Pavement(MPDP), and Combine Harvester.

The selection of the beneficiaries was carefully conducted by the evaluation team using the matrix and guidelines provided by the Department of Agriculture-Regional Office.
