The Department of Agriculture Chief, Emmanuel Piñol said that he will be awarding 100 Million for agriculture budget for the Province of Bataan in a Farmers and Fisherfolks Forum held on tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Batangas II, Mariveles, Bataan.

“Kung sa ibang lugar nga 50 M ang binibigay ko sa Bataan pa kaya?” said Sec. Pinol. In the said Forum the leaders of organizations of farmers and fisherfolks had given a chance to voice out their problems and needs in their organization and consult it to Secretary.

After hearing all the problems of the farmers and fisherfolks, the Sec. answered them that they should not worry about it, because he will give an action to those problems.

The Regional Director of Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Wilfredo M. Cruz also contributed boats to an organization and life vests to fish warden.

The Forum ended in granting the boats and life vests in fisherfolks, and lastly, DA Chief promised the farmers and fisherfolks of Bataan that it will not be the first and the last time that he will visit the


A total of 344 units of Farm were granted (zero equity) to 120 Farmers Organization at Department of Agriculture-ROS, Paraiso, Tarlac, Last June 21, 2017.
