The renewal of partnership and on-boarding of the new members of Sibul TBI Board of Advisory (BOA) Members was successfully held on March 21, 2025, during the Agri-Innovation Forum 2025. The partnership signing took place at the 2nd Floor Conference Room of the PSAU University Food Center.
Under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. and Office of Innovation Director, Walter L. Pacunana, 16 key leaders from government agencies and private sectors, reaffirmed and pledged their commitment to providing guidance so that Sibul TBI can really deliver an effective incubation program management for the benefit of the farmers, fisherfolk, and the broader agri-business community.
Dr. Anita G. David, PSAU President, was designated as the Chair of the BOA. Dr. Reynaldo V. Ebora, Executive Director of DOST PCAARRD, and Dr. Junel B. Soriano, Director of DA BAR, were appointed as Co-Chairs.
The BOA members are composed of the heads of two academic institutions, two heads from the private agencies, one head from the regional consortium, and 11 heads of government agencies.
During the partnership signing, Dr. David said, “We want to bring industry to the University. We are doing this for the Philippines and for our students who would be future leaders of this country.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Geraldine C. Sanchez, the VP for Research, Innovation, Extension and Training, who was also in attendance at the event, extended her appreciation to the BOA members for their support and trust.”
This renewed collaboration underscores the shared vision of Sibul TBI and its partners to empower local agribusinesses, and drive sustainable growth in the agri-innovation sector.
