The Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement Central Luzon (RAISE CL), one of the programs led by the Central Luzon Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (CLAARRDEC), conducted a Communication Planning Workshop on February 13, 2025 at the R&E Amphitheater, Central Luzon State University (CLSU), Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
The event brought together twenty-seven (27) dedicated RAISE Project staff from various Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs), including Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU), Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC), Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rice Research Institute (DA-PhilRice), DA-Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (DA-PHilMech), DA-Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), Aurora State College of Technology - ASCOT, President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU), and CLSU.
The workshop equipped participants with knowledge on effective communication planning, communication strategies, audience analysis, evaluation techniques, and RAISE CL branding and consistency.
As hands-on component of the workshop, each participating institution redefined a Communication Plan and developed a Cohesive Regional Technology Communication Plan.
The program concluded with a closing remark delivered by Dr. Emmanuel M. Vera Cruz, Vice President for Research and Extension and Director of CLAARRDEC, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration and effective communication in advancing Agri-aqua innovation across the region.
